Ken Rach
Mr. Rach has more than 27 years experience in the nuclear industry and has worked in various aspects of operations, power plant engineering and management. He was a licensed reactor operator and senior reactor operator (SRO) instructor and as such he is very familiar with the overall operation of nuclear power plants. He is an expert in system engineering, license renewal issues, thermal hydraulics and has been actively involved in overall management of service water systems and buried piping including the use of long range guided wave inspection technology to assess the condition of these components. Mr. Rach was involved with activities related to license renewal for Dresden and Quad cities Stations including thermal cycle analysis and UFSAR updates. He also managed the heater drain system performance sties at LaSalle and Quad Cities Stations which led to plant modifications to improve plant efficiency and reliability.
