The ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code
provides requirements for materials, design, fabrication, and inspection of most pressure vessels and piping systems. SI has experts that are intimately familiar with the requirements of Sections II, III, V, VIII, IX, and XI of the ASME Code. Several SI Associates are members of ASME Code Sections III
and XI working groups and have contributed significantly to the development of and upkeep of the Code. We have provided training on various aspects of the ASME Code.

Typical projects that we have been involved in includes:·

• Re-analysis of components for revised design conditions·
• Justification for operating the components for an increased number of loading cycles·
• Development of design modifications to accomodate service degradation

Coupled with our expertise in materials, stress analysis and fracture mechanics, SI can perform evaluations in a very timely manner on various plant components to ensure that pertinent requirements of the Code have been met.
