FatiguePro Automatic Cycle Counting Module

The cycle counting module in FatiguePro uses "smart logic" to systematically evaluate plant signals in order to count and categorize plant transient events. This module is intended to fulfill plant Technical Specification requirements for counting plant cycles. All transient events are automatically captured by the system, and all data and important plant parameters are saved for each event. Powerful data review capabilities are provided to graphically review all data, as well as calculate parameters such as stress and fatigue usage for each event.

Conditions may be placed on any event parameter (e.g. Tmax < 550°F). If the condition is not satisfied, FatiguePro will automatically mark it as such so you will be alerted. The current number of cycles are continuously monitored, with appropriate cycles flagged when the number exceeds the design basis. This system can be linked to the FMS to accommodate the counting of partial cycles.
