and Standards
In Section
XI of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, specific flaw
acceptance standards, flaw characterization rules, and evaluation
procedures are given for evaluation of inservice defects in
nuclear power plants. These procedures include both LEFM and
EPFM analyses as well as some customized procedures for specific
components.
The Code
and Standards module incorporates special fracture mechanics
calculations associated with industry-specific codes and standards.
This module
currently contains selected ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel
Code calculations for nuclear power plant components. Codes
and standards applications associated with other industries
will be added as user feedback warrants.
