ASME
Section III AND Section XI Design and Analysis
October 21-23, 2008
Location:
Entergy-Palisades Nuclear Plant
South Haven Conference Center
410 Blue Star Highway
South Haven, MI 49090
This course teaches plant engineers ASME Section III and Section
XI criteria and rules for design and evaluation of plant components.
Section III and Section XI training can be selected separately
or in one course. This knowledge is invaluable for in-house
design, replacement, repair, or re-evaluation decisions for
plant components.
These courses provide engineers with the fundamental, practical,
and design knowledge required for ASME Section III and Section
XI application to pressure vessels and piping. Attendees gain
a basic understanding of the Code and its application to practical,
cost-effective designs (as illustrated by practical examples).
The course can be customized to specific client needs. The
Section II/Section XI courses can also be combined with SI’s
Metal Fatigue and Fracture Mechanics course that also includes
discussion of Section III and Section XI.
