BIoGEORGEâ„¢ Biofilm Monitoring System with Probe

BIoGEORGE-Corrosion Monitoring and Prevention:

Microbiologically influenced corrosion (MIC) is an ever-present threat to nuclear plant service water systems, particularly standby and redundant water systems — some safety-related — in wet layup for extended periods of time. Fortunately, the on-line, real-time BIoGEORGE ™ monitoring system for corrosion control can provide early warning of biofilms before these rapidly forming films can get a toe-hold. BIoGEORGE also provides a reliable indication of the effectiveness of biocide treatments, plus feedback on biocide treatment selection, timing, and concentrations. BIoGEORGE is available from Structural Integrity under EPRI® license.
