Pipeline Services Brochures
» Pipeline Services Overview
The 16-page Pipeline Services brochure describes the extensive pipeline services for oil and gas transmission lines, power plants, and other industrial facilities that utilize piping from Structural Integrity Associates, Inc. (SI). Services described in the full-color brochure include advanced pipeline inspections, pipeline integrity engineering, corrosion engineering, and training.
» Structural Integrity Overview
A new eight-page, full-color brochure offers an overview of all SI services, including SI's consulting engineering services for the nuclear, fossil, and pipeline industries, and specialized services for SI's Canadian clients. The brochure also includes a description of SI's Expert Solutions services for utility, industrial, legal, and insurance clients.
» Area Potential - Earth Current (APEC) Survey
The APEC (Area Potential Earth Current) survey method is used to determine high corrosion potential areas while evaluating the need for Cathodic Protection system enhancements. This one page brochures takes a closer look at the Structural Integrity solution for Cathodic Protection in underground piping systems.
» Distribution Integrity Management Program (DIMP)
Structural Integrity Associates’ DIMP brochure summarizes PHMSA’s new rule that will require gas distribution pipeline operators to have a Distribution Integrity Management (DIMP) written program in place and fully implemented within 18 months. The rule states that the DIMP program cover an operator’s understanding, identify threats, evaluate and prioritize risk, implement plans to address the risks, measure and report the results, and continue evaluations and improvements. This DIMP brochure also shares how Structural Integrity’s engineering and pipeline expertise can easily help address each requirement.
» External Corrosion Direct Assessment
SI's one-page brochure describes applications and procedures used in External Corrosion Direct Assessment (ECDA), an alternative inspection methodology for assessing external corrosion in situations where pipeline configuration and operating conditions preclude use of in-line inspection or hydrostatic testing. ECDA can locate where damage is likely to initiate, as well as areas with ongoing corrosion.
» Guided Wave Testing Overview
Structural Integrity added three of the major guided wave testing (GWT) technologies to our inspection capabilities. This brochure provides the advantages and applications of Guided Wave Testing.
» Internal Corrosion Direct Assessment
This two-page SI brochure describes the applications and procedures used in Internal Corrosion Direct Assessment (ICDA), an inspection methodology used for internal corrosion assessment within covered pipeline segments. The brochure discusses internal corrosion qualification as well as ICDA plan execution.
» Managing Buried Piping and Underground Asset Integrity
SI's two-page brochure discusses the challenges involved in nuclear power plant relicensing, specifically those of managing buried assets to avoid corrosion for an additional 20 years of service. The brochure details SI's Managing Aging Piping (MAP) program for buried assets.
» Managing Buried Piping and Underground Asset Integrity Booklet
This 20 page brochure explores the various applications Structural Integrity Associates uses with its buried pipe integrity management program. You will also learn about the Buried Pipe User Community that provides support and management to MAPPro© Apps users.
» Materials Science Center
This one-page brochure on SI's state-of-the-art Materials Science Center highlights the wide-ranging capabilities of the Austin, Texas facility, including laboratory and on-site failure investigations, material evaluations, engineering and failure analyses, and nondestructive testing. Some of the Materials Science Center's particular specialties include optical metallography, quantitative microstructural analyses, fractography, scale and deposit analyses, metal chemical analyses, cryo-cracking, and in-place metallography and replications.
»Power Focus©
The brochure explores the features of PowerFocus©, a nondestructive examination tool most commonly used in long-range guided wave inspection and testing.
