HUNTERSVILLE, N. Carolina – October 13, 2025 – Structural Integrity Associates (SIA) today announced the appointment of Mr. Ted PapaGeorgiou as Director, Turbine and Generator Services within the company’s Energy Services Group.
“In this strategically vital role, Mr. PapaGeorgiou brings to bear his 35 years of experience to help grow one of our leading practices,” said SIA President and CEO Mark Marano. “Structural Integrity Associates expects to benefit greatly from Ted’s technical proficiency, expansive industry knowledge, and his product insights, all of which will elevate our trusted presence within turbine and generator services.”
Prior to joining SIA, Mr. PapaGeorgiou was Chief Engineer for EthosEnergy’s gas turbine product line. During his 11 years there, he oversaw vital teams and a wide range of innovation and product upgrades to meet global customer needs. Before that, he held progressively responsible leadership, technical, quality, marketing, and customer-facing roles with GTE, Siemens Energy, Westinghouse Electric Company, and Pratt & Whitney.
Mr. PapaGeorgiou earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Central Florida. He is multilingual and holds multiple patents related to gas turbines, with subject-matter expertise in rotating equipment lifetime assessment (LTA) and lifetime extension (LTE) options.
