Mr. Giannelli co-founded Finetech in 1983 and was President from 2006-2015. He managed daily technical and business operations, personnel hiring, administrative oversight and strategic planning. Mr. Giannelli has more than forty years of industrial experience in the development, application, troubleshooting and upgrading of unit operations, processes and materials for water and waste treatment, particularly those applied at electric generating utilities. He participated in, managed, and makes ongoing contributions in the EPRI BWRVIP, Chemistry, Fuel Reliability and Radiation Management Program committees. He has experience in integrating individual components into complete process systems, including developing flowsheets, material and energy balances, equipment and materials specifications, and in process performance assessments and technical-economic evaluations. Mr. Giannelli has technical expertise in the areas of water chemistry, ion exchange, filtration, activated carbon adsorption, and membrane separation processes. He developed detailed design criteria, final engineering designs, process control strategies, and direct assistance during start-ups of new processes at both new and existing plants. Mr. Giannelli is the inventor of three U.S. patents and author of numerous technical papers and presentations. He also maintains unescorted access at Exelon nuclear power stations.
