Mr. Walter is a Professional Engineer and is experienced in ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code Section III and Section XI analyses as well as BWRVIP program requirements. His areas of expertise include thermal, stress, fatigue and fracture mechanics analyses of nuclear pressure vessel and piping components with an emphasis on BWR reactor internals and safety related piping. He has also performed several environmentally assisted fatigue analyses for license renewal applications, transient cycle counting, weld residual stress analysis and has performed pipe wall thinning and through wall flaw calculations using Code Case N-513, ASME Section III design rules and ASME Section XI rules. He has also performed on-site vibration monitoring for main steam piping and acoustic analysis for BWR vessel internal components.
