Providing solutions that maximize safety and reliability and reduce cost. Engineering, materials, and nondestructive testing expertise integrated into our PlantTrack system to streamline asset management effort.
ENERGIZE YOUR ASSET LIFE CYCLE MANAGEMENT WITH SI’s ENPOWER PLATFORM
EnPower asset life cycle management platform maximizes the safety of your equipment at overall minimum cost. Our integrated system of engineering, materials science, inspection, and sensor technology gives you the peace of mind that your asset program is aligned with regulation and industry best practices.
The value of EnPower stems from SI’s proprietary risk ranking algorithms that are informed by 40 years of assessments, flaw characterization, fatigue and creep analyses, advanced analytics, failure analyses, and laboratory testing. The clever integration of individual analyses through our PlantTrack system maximizes the overall value, while the forecast accuracies are enhanced through our proprietary sensors (SenseTM) and connections to real-time plant operating data.
Our monitoring services and sensors detect the effect of creep, fatigue, and corrosion on critical plant components and, coupled with the with our real-time analytical engine, continuously calculates and reports remaining useful life.
Flexible implementation allows for interfacing with the plant historian and existing instrumentation or a turn-key solution where instrumentation and a wireless backbone is provided.
Reliability programs are critical in terms of personnel safety, operational availability, and overall plant longevity.
Because of the potential for long-term degradation, systems that operate at high temperature and pressure or experience cyclical fatigue require meticulous management. In addition, changes to operational codes have imposed regulatory requirements related to some programs. In the last 10 years, Structural Integrity has performed over 2500 projects contributing to programs across 700 sites and a wide variety equipment/plants. Clients receive an expert integrated, multidisciplinary program to ensure the safe and reliable operation of these crucial systems. Our programs are designed to meet the requirements of regulatory or insurance mandates such as the ASME B31.1 code for High Energy Piping (HEP), or Covered Piping Systems CPS). Additionally, SI implements and maintains reliability programs on behalf of equipment owners and operators.
Our methodologies are uniquely informed from experience in the power generation industry and begin with client design and operational reviews, evaluations of historical operating and inspection data, consideration of operational and maintenance records, system stress analyses (based on the current condition of the system), non-destructive examinations (NDE), material sampling and testing, and component lifting based on condition and accumulated service damage, we use a ‘building block’ approach to implementing programs to meet your needs.
