Because of the potential for long-term degradation, systems that operate at high temperature and pressure or experience cyclical fatigue require meticulous management. In addition, changes to operational codes have imposed regulatory requirements related to some programs. In the last 10 years, Structural Integrity has performed over 2500 projects contributing to programs across 700 sites and a wide variety equipment/plants. Clients receive an expert integrated, multidisciplinary program to ensure the safe and reliable operation of these crucial systems. Our programs are designed to meet the requirements of regulatory or insurance mandates such as the ASME B31.1 code for High Energy Piping (HEP), or Covered Piping Systems CPS). Our methodologies are uniquely informed from experience in the power generation industry and begin with client design and operational reviews, evaluations of historical operating and inspection data, consideration of operational and maintenance records, system stress analyses (based on the current condition of the system), non-destructive examinations (NDE), material sampling and testing, and component lifting based on condition and accumulated service damage, we use a ‘building block’ approach to implementing programs to meet your needs.
